- Open the suspicious email, but do not click any links within it.
- Depending on your application:
- Outlook (Desktop): Go to File > Save As and select Outlook Message Format (.msg).
- Outlook (Web): Drag the email from your inbox directly onto your desktop to create a file.
- Apple Mail: Select the email and go to File > Save As and select Raw Message Source.
- Gmail: Click the three dots (More) menu in the top right of the email and select Download message.
- Save the file to a known location, such as your Documents folder, and name it
suspicious_email.msg.

.msgor.emlfile you saved in Step 1. - Click Submit.
Windows Key + Shift + S on Windows or Command + Shift + 4 on Mac) and attach the image to your ticket. However, a saved file is preferred for technical analysis.
What happens next?
Once the ticket is received, our security team will:
- Analyse the email headers to identify the true sender.
- Check if any malicious links are hosted on known phishing domains.
- Determine if other users in your organisation have received the same email.
- Blacklist the sender's address and domain across your mail filter to prevent future attacks.
