2. Unlock your device. If a prompt appears asking "Trust This Computer?", tap Trust and enter your device passcode.
3. On your Windows PC, open File Explorer (Windows Key + E).
4. In the left-hand sidebar, click on This PC.
5. Double-click on your device (e.g., Apple iPhone) > Internal Storage > DCIM.
6. You will see folders named 100APPLE, 101APPLE, etc. Open these folders to find your photos and videos.
7. Select the files you wish to back up, right-click, and select Copy.
8. Navigate to the folder on your PC where you want to store the backup, right-click, and select Paste.

Method 2: Using the Apple Devices App or iTunes (Full Backup)

For a comprehensive backup including app data, settings, and documents, use the official Apple software. For Windows 10 and 11, Apple has transitioned from iTunes to the Apple Devices app.

Using the Apple Devices App
